Accessibility
Our accessibility statement
This is a statement of intent and of current state, not a certificate. We would rather publish an honest list of gaps than a compliance claim we cannot back up.
What we target
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our design and development goal. That is a goal we work toward, not a certification we hold, and no third party has audited this site against it. Where we fall short of AA, we would rather say so on this page than let a badge imply otherwise.
What is already in place
Visible keyboard focus
Every link, button and form control shows a high-contrast focus ring when reached by keyboard, and a skip link jumps straight to the main content.
Keyboard navigation in the site menu
The navigation drawer opens and closes from the keyboard, traps focus while it is open, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
Reduced-motion support
Decorative animation — the marquee, pulsing indicators, reveal transitions and glow effects — is disabled when your system asks for reduced motion.
Minimum 44px touch targets
Buttons, links and controls on our public pages are sized so they can be tapped reliably on a phone.
Semantic headings and landmarks
Pages use a real heading hierarchy and semantic elements rather than styled divs, so screen readers and reader modes can navigate them.
Alt text on meaningful images
Images that carry information have text alternatives; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
ARIA on interactive components
The menu is exposed as a dialog with a label and an expanded state, and the current page is marked so it is announced as such.
Known gaps
Things we know are not right yet:
- Automated testing is not yet part of our release process. Accessibility is checked by hand on the pages we change, which means a regression can reach production before we notice it.
- The site has not had a full audit — automated or manual — against WCAG 2.2 AA. Our coverage claims are based on our own review, not an external test.
- Colour contrast has not been verified for every combination in the interface, particularly small secondary text on dark backgrounds.
- The interactive map and some media embeds have not been tested with screen readers, and may not be usable without a mouse.
- Translated pages have received less accessibility review than the English ones.
Report an accessibility barrier
If something on ClubEPK blocked you, tell us what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the assistive technology, browser or device you were using. That detail is usually the difference between a fix and a guess.
Email hello@clubepk.comWe review accessibility reports individually. We do not promise a response time or a specific fix date, but barriers that block someone from booking or from managing their profile go to the front of the queue.
